The standard most contractors talk about. We document it every visit.

One point of contact

You deal with us, not a chain of subcontractors who don’t talk to each other. One contract, one standard, one team accountable for the outcome.

On record. Every visit.

Every finding, every repair, every preventative maintenance task is documented and handed back to you. You own the records, and that paper trail matters when insurance or compliance comes knocking.

We find it before it finds you.

Our inspections are designed to catch problems at the fix stage, not the failure stage. That’s the entire point of the program.

The work earns the next job.

Over 90% of our work comes through direct referral from existing clients. That trust comes from consistent work, clear documentation, and showing up the same way every time.

How It Works

From first call to a documented action plan. Four steps, every time.

01

You reach out

Call us or fill out the form. We respond the same day — a real BASS MCS team member, not a ticket system or an automated phone tree.

02

We schedule a site visit

We coordinate directly with your team around your facility calendar and approved maintenance windows. You know who’s showing up before we arrive.

03

We inspect your system

A full walkthrough of your electrical infrastructure — switchgear, transformers, panels, and more — photographed, tested, and condition-rated on the spot.

04

You get a clear action plan

A written report with photos, condition ratings, and a prioritized fix list — in plain language your whole team can act on.

NFPA 70B Compliance

Insurers are asking whether your equipment is maintained to standard. We help you prove it.

NFPA 70B is the recommended practice for electrical equipment maintenance, the standard loss-control surveyors and property managers now cite by name. We build the maintenance program and the documentation that closes the gap, structured for the questions an underwriting review will ask.

Mission-critical isn’t a tagline.
It’s where we came from.

BASS MCS grew out of nearly three decades of commercial and industrial electrical work, from BASS Electric, founded in 1996, to a dedicated maintenance, inspection, and testing operation launched in 2025. Same standard, every job.

Common Questions

Answers before you call.

What does an electrical inspection actually cover?

We inspect your entire electrical distribution system: switchgear, transformers, motor control centers, panels, protective relays, grounding systems, and more. Every inspection includes a full written report with photos, condition ratings, and a prioritized list of what needs attention and when.

How long does an inspection take?

It depends on the size of your facility and how many electrical assets you have. A mid-size manufacturing plant typically takes one to two days on-site. Large campuses or multi-building facilities may take longer. We give you a timeline estimate before we ever show up.

Do you work alongside our existing maintenance staff?

Yes, and we prefer it. Your in-house team knows the facility. We coordinate with them directly so the inspection goes smoothly and your people aren’t left out of the loop. Our reports are also written so your staff can act on them without needing us back on-site for every question.

What happens when you find a problem?

We flag it, document it with photos, and rate it by severity. You get a clear corrective action plan that tells you exactly what to fix, in what order, and why. We don’t hand you a list of problems and walk away. We stay available to answer questions and help you plan the repair.

Can you provide a COI before the site visit?

Yes. We typically provide a Certificate of Insurance within 24–48 hours after agreement. If your facility has specific additional insured requirements, let us know upfront and we’ll confirm coverage before scheduling.

Do you offer multi-site or enterprise contracts?

Yes — multi-site contracts are a core part of what we do. You get one point of contact, one standard report format, and one partner relationship across all your locations, with a single master service agreement.
